Need Help?

I’ve compiled some of the most popular questions that’s been brought up over the years. Hopefully this can assist you well.

✦ Installation & Compatibility

So, what are Lightroom & Camera Raw presets?

They are pre-defined settings in the abovementioned programs (sliders, curves, and other numeric calibrations) designed to create a certain look / feel / color palette in the photos to which they are applied.

What version of Lightroom & Camera Raw do I need?

To make things very simple, just use the latest Lightroom Classic or Camera Raw (requires Photoshop) available. This saves you all the compatibility issues. But basically, my presets work best with Lightroom CC 1.3 / Classic CC 7.3 or newer.

How do I install the presets?
Super easily. First, download and unzip the Presets. Next, copy the (.xmp) files into the following location:

macOS: Users\YOUR NAME\Library\Application Support\Adobe\Camera Raw\Settings
Windows: Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings
Does it matter what brand / type of camera I use?

Nope, it’s all good. I’ve tested my Presets effectively on almost all camera models and image profiles of the following major makers: Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax, and Leica (DSLRs and Mirrorless both). So rest assured they’ll work on just about any color photo.

Can I use your presets on my phone?
It's possible, but not recommended as it takes a cumbersome way in doing so. My Presets are designed to work in a Desktop Computer environment for serious photographers looking to deliver premium work to their clients.

If you are looking to color grade photos on your phone, it's better to use Snapseed from the App Store or Google Play instead.

✤ General Interest

How do I receive my products after purchase?

Following a successful transaction, automatically generated download links will be sent to the email address you entered at the payment step. If somehow you never received your Presets. Send me a DM on Facebook or Instagram.

Are your Presets a once-off purchase or subscription based?
You will only need to buy it once and it'll work forever (including offline). Digital subscription based models are highly annoying and you don't actually own your products (won't work unless you're online). I will never offer subscription based Presets.
What if I somehow lost my Presets, what do I do?

First of all, before this actually happens, back up your products that you've purchased. Each product will expire after 1 download. However if you truly lost it, you'll just have to buy it again.

Do you offer refunds for a purchase?

Due to the digital nature of the Presets. There are no refunds for any transaction.

Are these any sales or discounts?

Every now and then depending on the season, certain Presets will go on sale. But that's not always guaranteed.

㋛ Kinda Misled

Will my photos look amazing with just one click?
Uhh... maybe? And any other brand that promises you more than that is not being truthful. Because the reality is, I don’t know how you shoot your images. If you’re someone who likes to go full auto-mode while being trigger-happy with frontal flashes, then no preset in the world is going to save you.

On the other hand, if you know how to capture a decent photo - properly exposed, focused, and all the rest of it, my Presets will do wonders for you. They’re an awesome starting point for the creation of moody tones and happy vibes. So it really depends on you. Using Presets for photography is cheating isn't it?

You mean improving workflow and efficiency to reach a goal faster with the assistance of technology, then ok yes.

Do you drive a car or take public transport to a destination quicker? If so, maybe just walk as to not cheat. (⌐■_■)

Do you offer modifiers or other tools, such as profiles?

Never. I only give you the file you need, and not a million different items to make the product seem more worth it. I give you a clean starting base (which defaults to the profile of Adobe Color) and encourage you to learn the actual editing software for further tweaks.

Can I use these Presets on JPGs?

Yes you can, but it won't look nearly as good. The Presets were engineered to work with Raw images instead.

There's so many free Presets out there, why do I have to buy them?

You don't have to. (•_•)
